I just discovered this new blogging service called Vox from sixapart , the same people that make Typepad and Movable type
It sports the following features:

features

  • Social netowrking features
    • Friends list
    • tagging
    • High quality , professional themes
    • Integrates with many services
      • Allows uploading of music, videos, text of any size
      • Allows hiding certain parts of a post or the entire post from the pubic , only visible to friends
      • Allows posting from a mobile phone (moblogging)
      • Full WYSIWYG editor (what you see is what you get)
    • Vox is intended more first time bloggers and it will be immediatly noticable to any seasoned blogger , 1.There is no template editing AT ALL also rss feeds are not customizable…so feedburner is out…Although the also this product is in beta and you will need an ivite to get in …I have two invites left …if you would like one While I have them please email me at Leachim6@gmail.com otherwise submit your email address to sixapart.com/vox to be notified when invites become available…

Verdict:Although Vox is light on features it is great for First time bloggers or as a secondary blog…I thinkvox has a lot of potential and you should watch for Many updates for much better functioality after all it is a beta
