Another feed2podcast hack and my new podcast

I mentioned Feed2podcast(.com) Before in my Podcast your gmail post

Now I Found another great hack for them…I have made my own blog here into a podcast with my Ad-free feed2podcast account generously donated after the mix-up and I found a cool way to make podcast downloads available

Why not make a widget ? WordPress suports rss widgets so why not put it there so thats what im going to do…to download any of my posts as a podcast just look at the rss feed called Podcast in my sidebar :)

Introducing …Windows Live Writer

I just foind this really cool app called Windows Live Writer  I have to say …for everything microsoft has done…Maybe …Just maybe…they got something right… this thing is nice…It lets you do anything that the web interface does ….Except easier it even does catagories, tags , comments (enable/disable) , trackbacks , pings , timestamps , blockquotes ..everything …And for ONCE …just ONCE they are NOT forcing you to use there service …msn spaces ….Im using it right now for wordpress…and also …it is VERY easy …it took me about 30 seconds to startup (and thats with downloading posts too) All it needed was my blog address and user/pass

Im writing this post with it now …Here are some pictures :

Overall this is a pretty neat piece of software…even if microsoft made it…It is very smooth and integrates well  , even with non-microsoft products (*gasp*) it is even STANDARDS COMPLIANT (*double gasp!!!*)

And NO its not foxit …although foxit reader is a great reader I have one that goes so fast…you gotta erm…you gotta….WELL ITS FAST OK

Its called gsview and its a gui frontend for ghostscript for windows … it takes about 1 second to open the average pdf

Podcast your gmail!!

This is one of the firsts posts I wrote on my blog…but I was just learning about blogging so It had no tags or catagories therefore nobody found it , it was also all 1 paragraph so here is Podcast your gmail 2.0 Now with 100% MORE TAGGING and 100% more ordered lists :)

This is a tutorial on how to get your Gmail delivered in voice form to your iPod (or any other mp3 player) as a Podcast

here are the steps:

  1. get your gmail feed the feed is https://username:password@gmail.google.com/gmail/feed/atom where username is your username and password is your password
  2. navigate to feedburner.com and enter yoru feed into the box on the homepage
  3. Create a Feedburner Account If you dont already have one (if you do just login)
  4. head to http://feed2podcast.com and sign up for an account there
  5. once you have an account , sign in and click “burn new feed here”, you will have to fill in every box but you can put whatever you want in it, once you create your podcast feed at the end of the page where it says “or copy your url”

    6. copy the url in the box and open itunes (or any other podcast client of your choice)

  6. and go to advanced –> subscribe to podcast
  7. enter the url you copied before into this box
  8. hen right click your feed and click update , there you go gmail podcast

I cannot belive the traffic im getting

Since I started being more active on my blog and using technorati tags My traffic has <sarcasm>SKYROCKETED</sarcasm> hah ok maybe that is a LITTLE exageration but !! observe the spike since I postet the lorem ipsum post

Ok so it went from 2 pageviews a day to 11 right…so No big deal …but its a start right :) Plus …I don’t really care if anyone likes what I write

I love to write and thats all that matters right ? :)

I just discovered this new blogging service called Vox from sixapart , the same people that make Typepad and Movable type
It sports the following features:

      Verdict:Although Vox is light on features it is great for First time bloggers or as a secondary blog…I thinkvox has a lot of potential and you should watch for Many updates for much better functioality after all it is a beta

Have you ever wondered what the text
